Our Organization »

New Heights Therapeutic Riding is a division of New Heights Therapy Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1998 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.  We are a member center of NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association).

• Mission:  New Heights Therapeutic Riding promotes the physical, emotional and cognitive health of people with disabilities in an equestrian environment.
• Vision:  As results of New Heights Therapeutic Riding services, children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities will be healthier and integrated more completely into family, school and community activities including the work force, where applicable.  People in our community will better understand the needs of people with disabilities. 
• Goals:  New Heights Therapeutic Riding will become a premier therapeutic riding center in Southeast Louisiana.  We will improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities.  We will improve the understanding of and response to the needs of people with disabilities.
